Alexa for Optus

Start managing your accounts with Alexa!

Designed to help make your life easier by allowing you to access your bank account information quickly, Alexa for Optus is always there to help!

How to Use Alexa

Open the Alexa app.    Tap Skills in the menu.    Search for Optus Bank

Follow the prompts >

Enter your Optus Bank web banking credentials.

Accept the terms and conditions.

Create a 4-digit PIN code.

When your account has been successfully paired, you’ll see a screen that says, Your Optus Bank skill was successfully linked.

You are now set up to use Alexa for Optus across all of your Amazon devices, including the Echo and the Echo Show.

What can Alexa for Optus do for you?

Check your balances

"Alexa, open Optus Bank."

You will be prompted to provide your 4-digit PIN code. 

Then ask, “What’s my {account} balance?”

Find out information about the last deposit.

"Alexa, open Optus Bank."

You will be prompted to provide your 4-digit PIN code. 

Then ask “What was my last deposit to my {account}?” or “When was my last deposit to my {account}?”

Get the last five transactions

"Alexa, open Optus Bank."

You will be prompted to provide your 4-digit PIN code. 

Then ask “What were my last five transactions?”

Transfer money between accounts

(no external transfers available)

"Alexa, open Optus Bank."

You will be prompted to provide your 4-digit PIN code. 

Then say “Transfer $___ from {account} to {account}.”
