Benita Lefft serves as President and Chief Operating Officer of Optus Bank, a historic financial institution based in Columbia, South Carolina. In 2023, she made history as the first woman to be appointed President of the bank since its founding in 1921. In her dual role, she oversees the bank’s Retail and Commercial Banking divisions, Deposit and Central Operations, Human Resources, and Marketing and Communications.

Reginald Webber serves as Director, Executive Vice President, and Chief Credit Officer of Optus Bank, one of the nation's mission-driven financial institutions and a certified Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI). In this capacity, Reggie is responsible for the strategic leadership and oversight of the bank’s credit risk management functions, ensuring alignment with regulatory expectations, sound underwriting principles, and the institution’s mission of expanding access to capital in underserved communities.

Byron H. Coffin IV

Chief Financial Officer

Byron H. Coffin IV is the Interim Chief Financial Officer at Optus Bank, bringing more than 30 years of accounting and financial management experience to the organization. A Certified Public Accountant, Byron oversees the Bank’s accounting department, regulatory reporting, financial statement preparation, and asset/liability management, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and transparency in all areas of financial operations.
